Rating System Modification: Losing Team member loses points

In a team game (not 1v1) , why does a player who is eliminated lose points?
I think he should be awarded points.
Reasons being:
a) Its a TEAM game
b) His teammate could not have won without whatever little contribution the losing member made during the game
c) For ex in a CBA hero game team 1: Persians + britons and team 2 Japanese +Celts
The brit player will obviously have more kills and will advance more...
However just because the persian player has less kills he may not reach castle also but it was because of the Persian plyer that brit got so many kills. Let's assume for some reason, Jap and celts rush persian and finish him! Quite likely...! Does it mean the Persian player should lose all points...? Not reasonable i suppose!
Obviously Brit would win with all the kills he got....

Should review this rating methodology!
At least the losing teammate's points can be floored to 0 not deducted...

I agree. Losing team mate should not lose points.
