trade carts * units killed for 2nd and 3rd. +1

These variable can be see in match details:
- Total Owned Carts = Trade Profit
- Real Kills Counter = Total Wonder (It's not wood but only real kills)

But the total wonder attribute of voobly is bugged, you will have to check match achievements ingame.

I dont think doing this will be a good idea. The unit killed is not much important. The imp. think is what you bought with carts and that decides the winner. So choosing on basis of kills will underestimate the player who made skillful buys. In between there is no worry in chosing 2nd n 3rd as we will have 3 games.
1st Game of 8 ppl and winner is 1st.
nd game of 7 ppl with winner being ejected and this time winner get 2nd prize. Similarly 3rd place 6 ppl ffa.
So giving more chances to win a prize will be better than just deciding in one game.
And the new suggestion promote less player ffa which i think is not good. :S

or make it bo3 and the winner will be the one with the most points, like :

first = 11 points
scd = 7 points
third = 6 points
...
eight = 1 point

first is the winner of game, and others are determinated by points (trade carts * units killed)
Then to determinate the winner of master of rtd you add up all their points from the 3 games.

It's just because ffa game with 4 players are not very interesting, gameplay is very different from 8 ffa game, and I think points is a good way to determinate the best player.

if the timing of every game is atleast 30 minutes or less then 40 minutes[normal timing] then this idea is awesome for me ;3angel

in my way, we will need to eliminate all players than cant win it in third and last game because their lack of points, to avoid bad play.

I guess this way is for semis and final. So pointing players and then eliminating them is better option for us ;) as just I_Love_AOE2 quoted above

I would prefer an RCB tournament not RTD. RCB third most played map in CS and there has never been an ffa tournament for it. RTD is fun and all but priorities guys...

Try to get good at it. I bet you can't even win 1/7 games. And considering RCB was the only thing to make me play this game again a few years ago and is the primary reason I played the game I'd say yes I will talk about RCB again. It really is a fun and challenging map. RTD has great variety and all but idk... it doesn't involve nearly the strategy that RCB does.

RTD doesn't involve excessive clicking, when patrolling and making units from castles.

Oh, so you're trying to say it's boring? =P

I get what you mean though but strategy wise I still say RCB has more involved

shut up please before you make fun of yourself again by claiming you are one of the best rcb players
