Just don't worry too much if a tourney doesn't get off the ground. Make sure you look at why it failed and learn from it. For example, if we take my WoA tourney, that was close to enough players with 3v3. If it had been 2v2 (which on hindsight was the obvious choice) it may have succeeded. As for MCB Store I think that was a victim of having no solid community, not really inductions fault at all.

So remember this, you can't make progress without making having a few failures. That being said, we shall try to discuss future tournaments a bit better when we are not sure of their success.

probably advance sign ups do more good to community of less players.
and there was lack in promotion of mcb tourney. but it will help us to learn.

Lack of incentives is the killer. Awarding prizes of some fashion, even for participating in 'x' amount of tournaments would be the logical way of promoting tournaments. It just depends what Voobly are willing to give away or discount, and what we can come up with for prizes besides what we already provide.

Its more to do with the general 'deadness' of CS. Trying to host minority maps is a bad idea these days since theres nobody left who plays them. So we can stick to the cbas and roll the dices until bloods perks up again for a while.

My tourney is not going to be a flop Im pretty sure about it. I have 4 streamers that are willing to stream with PleaseBeGentle. And I will do sign-ups in a room hosted in the Cs lobby to make sure there won't be any smurfs in the low rated tourney. And Shields will be given to the winners. And genette said he will broadcast the tourney everywhere. And I got few promoters that'll spam about this everywhere. :D
