I don't see why you wouldn't consider Geen an expert, he was a level above everyone else while you were still in diapers over at Gamespy. Then again, I guess you've only seen the newschool generation of CBA players.

personally, when I came to igz I never heard of cba but after a few months of transferring skills to it, me and geen played a few games, needless to say i wasn't very impressed ie. i won , so maybe he was but by the time i came, he wasn't ... but that's irrelevant, even if he was a level above everyone in old igz, the level must've been down quite a bit...

besides that, i played in gamespy/park/hamachi and igz all at the same time and started igz properly in like 2008, so that's still quite a while, wouldn't call myself new school in cba

I don't really remember your name being prominent in CB circles until IGZ changed names to Voobly. It was mainly Geen, Che and Damian if I remember right.

I do remember well enough that Lawliet or Geen was the pioneer for skill in CBA and CBF. Before that, it was considered a laughing stock.

No1 care about 1v1 - How its fun to patrol 80 men ? Its too easy to learn and i think its for younger lads.

Better all learn 4v4 random civs. 1v1 isnt for Custom Scenario also Same civs isnt for custom scenario. Its all about 4v4 random games. Played with 1v1 and 2v2 players and i can tell they really suck in TG's.

I think its personal on what you like. I have fun on

Tg - you can chat , laugh etc but there is always problems with the teamates you get. Thats basically the worst part because then its no fun having to keep reminding your teamates what to do. (Unless you are one of those players who just full fmt)

1V1- any player who plays mirror should learn respect on 1v1. I usually tend to laugh at my errors i make during the game and opponent laughs its ok. It makes the game much more fun other than just thinking "i have to win " it also allows you to chat friendly and dont feel bad if you lose or evolve a sense of hate against him. Anything can be funny on 1v1. Ex: trying to kill middle unit , enemy brings 3 units more. Now you run and bring 10. Enemy comes with whole army lmao.

FFA- personally this is my favorite gameplay. You can win the game with any civ you get. Just have to be patient and explore the fights occuring in the map. Most players of course dont chat but its fun seeing so many fights. But of course there is always dumb purpose feeders (play with high rated ppl for this not to happen)

Wtf is this? Estigma was the biggest Point Trader of all time........... I remember he loved to out of sync games and drop when he was losing.............plus he only played maya like aoc was only that ****ty delete plumbs thing...
Wallabis? I taught Wallabis how to 1v1 celt war... and altough he became a rly good player, it´s not quite wise to say he was one of the epic 1v1 players....

At that time we were young... we wanted to 1v1 all the time in everything... nowdays we just want to play some 4v4s to have some fun and thats it.

Now, at that time (notice the "at that time") I'd say the best players at 1v1 would be Che and some berry folks (geen, luna, dog).
