Beginners Herofest Guide
The Guide is especially for those players who dont know this map well and would like to start playing this map. May be i would be wrong at some points but this is enough for a new player to do. Thanks for reading =)
Contents:

Introduction

Herofest is a map in which you start with a castle surrounded by few walls and two towers. Apart from it you get two villagers garrisioned in castle which you will use to build more castle , town centers and Bombard towers. The main objective is to kill the enemy castle to win. As the game starts , Notingham ( M@A Hero) will spawn automatically from castle. Then ungarrision your villagers and start building castles then Town center. Queue your unique unit in castle and start rushing your opponent.

Ways to build

Speed is most crucial in this game as your start only depends upon the initial start of your builders. I suggest to start taking build with castle around your main castle such that your villagers remain inside the halfly build castles so that it will be less vulnerable to rushes. First build all the castles with 1.2k hp and leave them so that they can act like walls. then complete your build. Afet 1-2 castles are built build your TC and start villi production like a dmn . build more TCs and then flood villi on making castes and BBT. BBT plays the most important role in this map as you grab map with this only.

There are more ways to do it though^^ Thanks ben for this <3

Rushing

The idea behind rushing is to kill the enemy villi or atleast slow his building process. As your hero spawns send some to attack his buildings or his villi if got chance. Try rushing from different directions. jannisary rushing (Turk) is one of the best as it will always force opponent to garrison villagers. So your initial start will be with rushing and later compact buildings of BBT and forwarding to opponent.

Hotkeys

Since this map is damn based on speed and builds. Hotkeys boosts your speed and can helpful in Massive fights. Always use hotkeys to build and create unit.
Default ::
Shift+ ur unique unit key in castle to produce units.
Same goes for TC
B+N will make a TC by a villager
B+J will make a BBT
V+V will make a castle

BBT Building and Map grabbing

Once after initial start and building reqwuired castles and TC you should get your focus on making BBT. Keep a look on enemy position if enemy is panicked get your villager a bit forward and start buiding BBT nera him. But dont build like a **** keepit compact and make sure that you dont trap your villi. Never forget to build near your castles too. Many people on gaining initil advantage get all villi forward and forget there base. So always keep building BBT near your base too. So the late game just depends only on how you build and what new stpes your try to evade your opponent.

Kills Advance

Every 50 kill progress will give you a stronger hero spawn from your castles.
KILLS:
50- Aethelfirth
100- Minamoto
150- Archer of eyes
200- Sieur bertrand
250- belisarius
300- charlemagne
350- robin hood
400- erik the red
450- nobunaga
500- tamerlane
550- Joan of Arc
600- El Cid
650- master of the templar
700- theodoric the goth
750- el cid campeador
800- william wallace
850- genghis
1050- godz
1300- sabs (no trebs)
1500- second sab spawn (Super fast SO U CAN END THE GODDAMN GAME!!!

Late Game

As the game goes the heroes will become more stronger. Until the time of genghis the damn time would have come when you will directly try killing his main castle and finish him. Though it might fail if you made a mistake but at those part of game one mistake and delay in decision can kill you off.

Use gates to fill empty spaces. Like this = [You must login to view link]

You can delete heroes or send them to rush, to make pop for villagers or Unique units = [You must login to view link]

Use buildings as walls to prevent enemy heroes (melee) attack your villagers.

i wouldnt put the gate in that angle. You really want to be Organized in that map wth your walls , castle & bombards will placed. You always want a clear path and Building mixture like that can sometimes ruin attacks. Depends on your experience. But for new players i would recommend a simple organized circulated" mini city to protect your villies.

Gates are used to fill single places so they're easy to delete when you want to push forward with massed Jans and villagers. A single wall tends to be difficult to click on when two castles side by side are up, and can waste important micro and macro time, particularly in the early stages of a game just trying to click on the damn wall. It also fills more space making it more convenient for protection.
