Scheduling:

Every round will last 1 week, meaning each player has 1 week to schedule and play the games before the deadline of the round which is Sunday 23:59 GMT. Your are encouraged to provide your best times and schedule as efficient as possible throughout the whole week in order to get the games played in time.
The staff will be very strict regarding scheduling, and difficulties might end up in Admin Times or Admin Wins.

Tournament Rules:

Signups:
To sign up you must agree to the rules and state your full user name for the tourney and link your voobly profile in this topic.

Example:

Name: RacerFXX
Voobly profile link: http://www.voobly.com/profile/view/123595535

Signups will close Friday, 27th of February.

You have to play the Tournament with the Nickname you signed up. Changes or smurf accounts are not allowed.

Seeding:
The players will be seeded according to the Voobly AOC "RM - 1v1" ladder.

Restarts:
Restarts must be called in the first 4 minutes of the game. Numbers of restarts on each rounds are:

Qualification stage (if needed): 1 restart per player
Group Stage: 1 restart per player
Round of 8: 1 restart per player
Round of 4: 2 restarts per player
Finals: 2 restarts per player

Nomad maps

In maps with Nomad start, the following rules are considered:

No villager wars until TC is up
No TC fights are allowed. In case of a TC war, it will gain an automatic Restart. This restart doesnt count for one of the player.
You are just allowed to build 1 house and the Dock before TC is up.

Spectator:
Spectators are allowed if both players agree with it.

Map Bugs:
If a player starts with a trapped boar, sheep, deer or if any of their main gold/stone piles have less than 3 exposed sides then the map may be restarted without consuming a restart point. This must be done within the first 8 minutes! The replayed map must be the same with the same civilisations.

Dropping:
If the opponent drops, you MUST click "save and exit". All dropped games must be restored!

Those dropped games have to be restored within 10 minutes, else the player having a technical issue will be DQ'd.

A tutorial explaining how to restore games with Voobly is here

All aspects, plus others not listed, will be analyzed before making a decision by tournament runners and others as they see fit.

Third Party Tools:
The use of any third party tool is prohibited. Examples are, but not limited to: Modified game files, syncers, crashers, network throttling devices (purposely lagging programs), and other such tools. Violation of this rule will not only result in disqualification from tournament, but termination/punishment as the Voobly staff team seems fit.

Misc:
Any issues with the client that may arise will be dealt with by the VCOM tournament mods/admins as they are presented.

You may only play on your account, and may only enter the tournament with one account. This also includes playing for someone else if your account was eliminated. Failure to follow this rule will result in disqualification of this Tournament

Matches must be played in the Tournament Lobby, (This lobby) and must be rated using the VCOM Ladder!

Once you and your opponent confirmed a time to play in the Scheduling Forum, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. More than that, the player that came and is waiting must take a screenshot showing [You must login to view link] (so the current time is clearly visible) and VCOM Tournament Lobby Game Room , and post the screenshot in Admin Win Requests topic, with a link to the post in the Scheduling forums where the game time was arranged and confirmed.

Any rule can be added/modified at any time as seen fit by a Voobly tournament mod. This rule exists to stop and punish potential exploitation of loopholes in current rules.

All matches must be recorded and uploaded in this forum before advancing to the next round there will be NO exceptions. The games may be uploaded to this forum

if needed, admin decisions will be decided by pumukel
