So, I recently acquired the rights for RCB Fair Mod, this means I can edit and update the modification whenever it is needed. This thread is here for you, the RCB players, to speak up and give thoughts about the modification. If you think something is overpowered, then post about it in this thread, same for if you think something is too weak.

Latest Update - June 2017


2017.06 Bracer is now enabled for Celts.
2017.06 Conquistadors lose their attack delay.
2017.06 Cataphracts movement speed increased to 1.45 to match Belisarius.
2017.06 Bearded Axe now applies to all axethrowing infantry units.
2017.06 Theodoric the Goth reload time reduced from 1.8 to 1.4 and movement speed increased from 1.05 to 1.15.
2017.06 William the Conqueror range increased from 0 to 1.

2016.02 Removed a hidden bonus given by Garland Wars, previously all Aztec Infantry had +1 Melee Armour.
2016.02 Archers of the Eyes Attack Rate reduced (1.79->1.9)
2016.02 Mordred Damage output reduced (80->40 AP vs Buildings).
2016.02 Mordred Attack Rate reduced (.8->1).
10.2015 Mayans can now research Bloodlines.
10.2015 Mayans can now research Husbandry.
10.2015 Aztecs can now research Husbandry.
10.2015 Reverted Chu Ko Nu +10 HP bonus, now they have the standard HP as in the normal game.
8.2015 Mordred Melee and Pierce Armour reverted and nerfed (removed the +1 Bonus and nerfed by 1 also, so total of -2 Melee and Pierce Armour).
8.2015 Mordred HP bonus reverted (-76 HP).
8.2015 Ring Archer Armour readded to Persians.
8.2015 Bracer removed for Persians.
8.2015 Genghis Khan LOS bug fixed (Range and LOS are equal now).
10.002 Bombard Tower stone cost reverted. No longer costs 250 stone to build.
10.002 Cavalry Archers bonus reverted. No longer get +15 HP and +1 AP vs Buildings.

I think britons are too strong and they don't need thumb ring ( robins with brits are superb )
Pers are also overpowered since they have bracer(cav archer + elephants combo) and castles are cheaper

leave brits as it is cuz brits only good with robins and its there only adventage from what i see
also i advise to give aztecs +8 ap back for infa

Mod updated to 10.002. Following changes were carried out.

10.002 Bombard Tower stone cost reverted. No longer cost 250 stone to build.

Is it possible for Voobly mods to create an excel document based on the top 50 players in the RCB ladder to determine the average values for percent win based on civ?

It would be a good indicator of the direction the mod needs to go.

Just my two cents. Not sure why I'm saying this. Highly unlikely I'm going to edit the mod or play the game again.

You need to persuade AzZzRu, not Voobly moderators. Voobly has no means to effectively make conclusions from a pile of matches.

I did some stats by curiousity :)

I can do some and give you results as raw text it's not much work.

960 FFA matchs civ win rate: [You must login to view link]

Longest match 4h45min ;shock

Ideal win rate is 4.53%, not 5.55%, because the calcul is a bit tricky to take account of civs more played than others.

Persians have the highest, as expected though. I think I may remove the Bracer upgrade for them that you enabled Weapon.

The following changes were carried out. Hopefully the game will be balanced more a bit now. Nerfs to Mordred will not take place any time soon now, I will have to monitor how the HP and Armour nerfs affect the gameplay.

The Persian technology changes were planned some time ago and should make Persians less overpowered than usual.

Fun fact: RCB had 8400 unique players during the last 4 months. ;cheers

Idk about the Persian thing. Honestly don't want to shed a thought towards whether or not it'll balance things. What I do know is it seems like everything has a cascade effect and it's hard to find a truly happy medium. Persians are honestly probably too weak now with that one change. If someone makes that excel document I will provide worthwhile evaluation of the mod.

Persians are and were capable of stomping every civilization in the game. Bracer just means that Persian Cavalry Archers and Castles/Towers do not get +1 Range. The Cavarly Archers barely benefit from the +1 Range, because you do not hit and run anyway, the epic meatshield does not require you to move a single thing backwards. Maybe in defence they are weaker now, but that is better, noone wants an unkillable Persian player that is about to get Harald.

If that's the case then good.

Another thing of note: If you people want balance you really need to start playing with 8 people every game the way it was meant to be played. That way you have more wiggle room to deal with the strong civs.

Throwing Axeman Movement Speed was already increased by you, so I will not go with his suggestion.

That aside, I am planning on removing Chu Ko Nu HP buff you have given them, I will not remove the AP buff. The problem is that many people nowadays go 8 Castle with China and just spam the hell out of Chus until Khan/Harald, which is not really ideal, because of the really fast Creation Time and increased HP it is unusually hard to fight against Chinese. I have not gone through with the final descision yet, so your chance to give input.
