Obviously it looks better if you merge 2 teams instead of one (i think thats what you're saying but not sure).

But the logic of merging teams in a tournament to determine the best clan is lost on me. You wouldn't merge 3 football teams so they can compete with barca would you? I think in terms of what is good for CS, we should be encouraging clans to recruit and train for TIW and hopefully stick around after for subsequent TIWs (I think this is better in the long run than just combining weaker clans for a tournie).

You can Invite Epic, X Family/DZ. Probably strongest Indian or Asian clans atm

Not X lol, it's bad enough Epic has to be invited, it's not cba hero 1v1 japs tournament.

According to 7th themselves, as you have stated before that 7th is inactive. So this leads to a conclusion that 7th should not be invited to play in the TIW 2016, because they are too inactive to provide a healthy competition.

For the long term success we should be encouraging more clans to play even if they arent the power house clans as it will be a great experience for them and can only encourage them to play more maps and practice to get better. Its certainly better for the long term. I dont mind clans merging if it means they will be more active or competitive but it isnt really necessary. I think that should be down to the clans themselves on how well they get along i mean the xcel/dv8 merge was a great success though i do think both could easily have a team on their own now.

I really like the idea of a potential play off to get the final spot if we are going on a 6 clan set up. A playoff would also show how willing they are to play by experiencing the set up most of you have played in. Though preferably id love to see maybe 2 groups of 4 and yes i do think we should have seeds, im not sure what the rest think but i would guess you would agree if we did manage to get 8 teams.

I agree for the long term basis its better if we get more clans involved for future events. Plus as mentioned it will encourage them to practice and play more maps. Which in turn will get more variety in custom and perhaps get more involved in tournaments for other maps. Sure the power house clans are likely to progress but it will be a great experience for other clans and hopefully it would lead to them being more competitive in future events

For me its about just showing how active and willing you are to play.

I think if clans really want to merge it's up to them, but if they merge they should be merging for real (i.e they are all wearing the same tag and they are united as one clan for more than just TIW purposes), and not just for the sake of a tournament.

I love the spirit and id love to see epic play in the tourney. Have a chat with the rest of the members and see how willing everyone is

Yeah it really depends on the level of interest though we could simply use 2015 set up and maps on consecutive weeks to determine who gets it. That is of course if we do a playoff, its diffently a good idea though

Yes, we would love to play in the tournament, after all, this is the biggest tournament of AoC CS. We will show full dedication to play. I think there are atleast 4-5 months before the tournament starts, by that time we will try to grow and improve the clan to the best way possible.

IMO just invite the better clans and then do a small tourney/league of any clan who wants to partecipate and then whoevers win/or prove they are good enough let them play in TiW 2016

or just directly invite the 8/10 best clan of the moments

It's more like 1-2 months, the provisional date i've seen from most is end of January.

Invite eot, xcel, dv8, vicious, 7th, and let anybody who wants to do a play-off for the last spot.
