somehow I cant watch games any more. When I join the room it's all normal, e.g. <Starting late join -- downloading 1 MiB> but then it starts the single player menu. I did not enable "start in single player menu" and don't think I did any changes compared to when it worked.

Hello, Does your Voobly run slow? For example join game/host and the room unresponsive for few minutes/seconds? If so please delete most of your age of empires recordings to make Voobly run much quicker. (If Voobly is unresponsive while loading spectator it will say unable to join or go to single player menu) as I tested
