Can't uninstall direct play!

I suddenly got the error code 0xc0000022, which won't let me start AOE2. My pc then automatically told me to install Direct Play, which apperantly it did. But even with direct play the game won't start. The error code remains and it is stuck in the same solving loop. Now I want to uninstall direct play but when I disable(unchek) it in the legacy compontents my computer restarts and direct play is still enabled.

Now I want to get rid of direct play but I cannot find any way how via Google

Plz Help

I want to play on voobly again not on crappy steam ;tears

Hello, Keep DirectPlay on. You need it to play old games like Age of Empires and other games around that era.

Try these below with DirectPlay on as well and let me know!

I cannot enter the player lobby yet as I get an error beforehand, which says
"can't find dpwsockx.dll and dplayx.dll"
However i can confirm that they are located in SysWOW64 as they should be right?
