I have downloaded the latest patch from [You must login to view link] and have installed it with the: Steam/steamapps/common/Age2HD
When I go to play a multiplayer game it states I am playing on the CD version and not steam HD. And the resolution is really poor.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong not to play my steam version on Voobly.
I have tried clean installing and every another element I could find.
Any help would be appreciated.
I've attached the pop up from Voobly saying it should work.
Try use these settings:

And also you can try use the 1.5 UP settings for your taste:

Keep in mind, even if all settings are fine, it won't be 100% same as aoeHD, but you can improve most of the object's look by mods.
For your resolution problems, if the suggested settings Gallas posted don't help, start a game in singleplayer (open a game room, select "start in single player menu" under "game", then launch the game). In the options menu of the game, you can select the resolution you want. Note that the resolution of the menu itself is fixed and cannot be changed. As soon as you are in a game though, you will notice the higher resolution.
