The AOE2 game window minimizes randomly for seemingly no reason. It doesn't happen at regular intervals, and it doesn't correlate with any key presses, alert messages, etc. Sometimes it will happen twice or more during a single game, sometimes not at all; each time it happens, I need to click the icon in the taskbar or alt-tab back into the game window, which takes several seconds. I have made sure to disable all notifications in Voobly settings and always close other applications before playing, and I have messed with my resolution and display settings in many different ways, but and nothing seems to help. I've read through all the setup guides and display support pages I can find, but I can't seem to find anyone else with my particular issue. Please let me know if you know of any possible solutions to my problem!
