Ok guys after alot of talk with alot of you im pleased to confirm the following rules. I will say this however if you have any questions or indeed if i missed something please let me know and i will confirm:

This is War 2020 - Rules/Settings

NB! All matches will be played in the TIW2020 Tournament Lobby with the TIW - Ladder enabled!

Ok ladies and gents here is the settings you will be using throughout the tournament

Rounds Setup

Order of the Games

1v1

These games must be played first before moving on to other sets, we ask you to play all these 1v1 games at the same time. However we do understand some like to watch all the games.

Host of the random decider if a decider is needed will be the team who came from behind to force the decider

2v2

These games need to be played after the 1v1 set and before the 3v3/4v4 set. The loser of the 1v1 set will get to pick their home map first.

Host of the random decider if a decider is needed will be the team who lost the 1v1 set

3v3/4v4

Once you have completed the above sets you can move on to this set. If a clan is behind 2-0 then they will get first home pick. If the scores are tied moving into this round then the winner of the 2v2 section will get home pick first

All games need to be played in this section even if you cant win the overall set because it might determine the placement in the league for everyone.

The host of the random decider if it indeed becomes an overall decider will be the team who didnt host the random decider in 2v2. If the 2v2 section didnt have a decider then the host will be the team who came from behind to force a decider.

1v1 Round - 1 point

This will be held on a best of 3 basis using a selection of maps that have been voted on in a secret vote. Each clan can pick 1 home map from the selection of maps voted on from the map list from the secret vote and one of the games will be random using the pack put together for the selection of maps. Its important to note that for each clan you will need a minimum of 3 different players we will endeavor to get all the 1v1s played at the same time but we wont enforce it and instead ask you to do it.

2v2 Round - 1 point

This will be held on a best of 3 basis with both clans getting to pick 1 home map from the selection of maps voted on for 2v2s. If a decider is needed then there will be a game played using a random pack put together using the voted on selection of maps

3v3/4v4 Rounds - 5 points

Each game will count as 1 point and the games will either be on a 3v3 or 4v4 basis. If a clan can only field 3 players and/or wants 3v3 then the games will automatically be 3v3 no questions asked. Though if both agree then the games will be 4v4. The rounds will be broke down as follows:

Home pick Rounds - 4 points

Each Clan can pick 2 home maps from the selection of maps voted on.

Random Round - 1 point

There will be 1 round using a map pack put together using the maps voted for the Tournament in the secret vote. This will change depending on map picks. If a clan uses a veto on a certain map and that map comes up in the random selection then you wont need to use another veto and the game needs to be restarted.

You will need to enable the VCOM Tournament Random Mod to play the Random Round.

We need your map selections posted in the schedule thread at least 1 hour before your games so that people can decide what maps they want to Veto. We do prefer if you can post your map picks days in advance as a matter of courtesy to your opponents when possible but you can wait until one hour before your games. We will try and have a VCOM moderator available to help assist with map picks and vetos along with any questions regarding rules etc.. If a VCOM moderator isnt available as in hosting a room for you to give them your map picks you will need to post them yourselves (1 hour before games start). Please dont hesitate to ask us if you are unsure of anything.

While we do prefer that you sort your map picks out sooner than the day of the games, please note if you do that is you confirming your map picks. You wont be able to change your map picks on the day unless vetos are used. Certain leniency might be allowed if for example one player who was set to play a map doesnt show up and you need to change a pick as a result. But in this instance we will only allow you to change one pick.

THE PART IN RED MAY CHANGE REGARDING MAP SELECTIONS BUT I WILL CONFIRM SHORTLY

Maps

After doing the map voting the maps available for selection can be found here:
https://vooblycommittee.voobly.com/forum/thread/317146

I also want to confirm certain rules regarding picks of certain maps:

Lustful/Zotten:
Both maps cant be picked as home picks in the TG round, however in the event one is vetoed then you can select the other. As always vetos will carry over to the random round and both maps will be available on a random selection basis. However and as mentioned if a map vetoed comes up then the game needs restarted and a new random selection chosen.

CBA/CBA Hero:
Both maps cant be picked as home picks in the TG round, however in the event one is vetoed then you can select the other. As always vetos will carry over to the random round and both maps will be available on a random selection basis. However and as mentioned if a map vetoed comes up then the game needs restarted and a new random selection chosen.

WOA/Graves:
Both maps cant be picked as home picks in the TG round, however in the event one is vetoed then you can select the other. As always vetos will carry over to the random round and both maps will be available on a random selection basis. However and as mentioned if a map vetoed comes up then the game needs restarted and a new random selection chosen.

IMPORTANT: In relation to cba/cba hero, woa/graves and lustful/zotten this will only apply to seeded clans. Non seeded clans can pick both in each category as home picks. So for example RB, IC, Simply and 300 can pick zotten and lustful as home picks, cba and cba hero, WOA and Graves as home picks in TG round.

Dodgeball:
Dodgeball will work differently from the others. Both versions will be available for selection and both versions will also be in the random pack. However a veto on one version will mean you cant pick the other version as it will carry for both versions.

As always and to create diversity throughout the sets a map can only be selected once as a home pick. However in the event your map is vetoed then you can change your map picks and select it in another round if its available. So for example lets say I select archer blood in 1v1 and lustful for 2v2. If someone vetos archer blood in 1v1 i can then change my picks to lustful for 1v1 and archer blood for 2v2 because both maps are available for every round.

Vetos

The difference to the below in green is that while each clan does have 3 vetos, the vetos will be split up. You will have 1 veto that can be used in either the 1v1 or 2v2 rounds and 2 vetos that can be used in the TG round. In addition the only vetos that can be used if you have any left once we start the round can only be used in the random deciders. I am still unclear on a time frame and system for when map picks and vetos will be used before a set but I will confirm this shortly.

Each clan will have a total of 3 vetos to be used for each clan v clan battle. So for example a veto can be used for a map selection or if they dont like the map that comes up in the random rounds. You will only have 3 vetos in total for each clan v clan match up. If you use a veto on a teams home map and the map comes up in the random pack round then that same veto will still stand and the game needs to be restarted, you dont need another veto. If you are using a veto in a random game simply call veto within the first 2 minutes of the game and the other person/team will resign or else you resign. Make sure to post evidence of a veto used.

Make sure to make it clear if you are using a veto when a clan gives its map selection on the forum. Also make sure you have a veto to use if you call veto in a random round or else you may be forced to play that map or else you will auto be given a loss. Most likely a loss. It is the duty of both clans to make it clear to each other what vetos are left for each other so lets not have any uncomfortable instances where vetos are called when there is none.

Spots/Postions/Civs for Maps

When a clan picks a home map they will have the choice of colours they prefer along with which civs will be played as long as the games are side v side. In the random games spots for 2v2 and 3v3/4v4 we ask you to pick either odds v even (1357 v 2468) or top v bottom (1234 v 5678) and obviously mirror civs. A map like Nova however if picked should be played odds v even however with each opponent facing a direct opponent.

In the random round if spots, civs need fixed and the game needs to be reset then game must be played mirroring the host. Players will not be allowed to switch civs and in addition you cant add a different player in from your roster as the map that comes up in random suits them better.

Immunity

Each clan will have one immunity per set in total they can use. What this means is they have one map pick that cannot be vetoed by the other clan. So for example xCs might decide to put an immunity on cba hero 3v3, this will mean cba hero 3v3 will be played. When map picks are given or posted you will have to make it very clear which map pick you are using your immunity on.

Basically you have one map that you can call immunity on whether you want it in 1v1 section or 2v2 section or 3v3/4v4 section it is your choice. If because of vetos to other maps you want to change your map picks as in for example you change cba from 2v2 to 3v3 because of something else vetoed then it is that one map cba that is immune. Your basically calling immunity to one map and not dependent on which section it is used.

Basically you have one map that you can call immunity on whether you want it in 1v1 section or 2v2 section or 3v3/4v4 section it is your choice.

If you cast an immunity in the 1v1 or 2v2 section and that map comes up as the decider for that section then the map will still be immune from being vetoed. However if you cast an immunity on a map in the 3v3/4v4 section and it comes up in the overall random decider then it can be vetoed.

Game mods

Game mods can be used if both parties agree to use it. You must make it clear if you wish to use a particular mod and if the other clan agrees then you can use it. If the other clan doesnt agree to use it then it cant be used no questions asked. However MQ will be auto unless both teams agree not to use it no questions asked. In addition RCB will be played using the fair mod unless both teams agree not to use it. In the event RCB comes up in the random decider then the game needs reset and the fair mod put on unless both teams

Roster Lock

Seeded teams xcs, eot, dy and boomers the roster lock for you is already in place from Monday the 17th of feb at 6pm gmt. No exceptions made u wont be able to add to your team.

For the non seeded teams rb, ic, simply and 300 you will have until Friday the 1st of march at 6pm gmt until there is a roster lock for you. To be clear as well as this may happen non seeds will be able to take players from the seeded teams. They wont be allowed to switch back to the seeds and it needs to be clear who they are if they do move. I will check and people will get punished if they attempt to play for 2 teams along with the team. So for example if say someone plays for a team then hops bk and plays for another team they will be banned from the tourney and that team will be given a loss for the game they played in. One team only, you can only play for one team let me be clear. Please help me by making sure you dont have members hoping around as i dont want to have to enforce punishments i want this tourney to be as smooth as possible.

Recorded Games

All games of match links and vetos must be posted in the relevant recorded game section

Scheduling

Clans must agree to a schedule and there will be a 2 week window to play your games. There will be a schedule thread created for teams to schedule in. In the event that the games arent played like there is a clan war or a particular tournament a weeks extension may be given. Or else a decision will be made judged on whats happened to date which might mean admin wins being given, so lets try and avoid any such problems and just play your games

Third Party Tools

The use of any third party tool is prohibited. Examples are, but not limited to: Modified game files, syncers, crashers, network throttling devices (purposely lagging programs), and other such tools. Violation of this rule will not only result in disqualification from tournament, but termination/punishment as the Voobly staff team seems fit.

Dropping

Dropping will be determined based on current game state:
If the winner dropped, then the match will be replayed.
If the game is still undecided at time of drop, match will be replayed.
If the loser is dropping (and it's clear he's losing), then the other person/team will be given the win

Misc

All aspects, plus others not listed, will be analyzed before making a decision by tournament runners and others as they see fit.

You may only play on your account, and may only enter the tournament with one account. This also includes playing for someone else on their account if they've played the games they are allowed to play. Anybody caught playing on someone elses account when they shouldnt be in the 1v1 or 2v2 games will give there team an auto loss and may result in further punishment as in both players banned from playing in the rest of the tournament.

Any use of a map bug, known or not known, will result in disqualification from the tournament. You have been warned.

Any rule can be added/modified at any time as seen fit by the ones running the tournament. This rule exists to stop and punish potential exploitation of loopholes in current rules.

Spawn glitching is not allowed
