I got my AoE HD from steam, and played a few mutliplayer games through just the in game lobbies but found them too laggy so I turned to voobly. Everything worked fine until the game diagnostic tells me that I need the compatibility patch. It doesn't install automatically so I followed the link and completed the installation. But pretty much nothing changes and it still says I'm missing those files. It just becomes scan -> install -> scan and never works.

If you're still having trouble with the scan after this then you'll have to move everything that is in that "New Folder" that you get from the compatibility patch and move all the files that are inside over to your Age2HD Folder and that should fix the problem. However if compatibility is done correctly shouldn't have to resort to that step!
