Rounds, Spots and Civs

Single elimination until semi-finals. Best of three in the semi-finals and Best of five in the finals.

Spots: p1 p2 vs p3 p4 for all of the single elimination rounds.
Semi finals: Game 1 p1 p2 vs p3 p4 / Game 2 p1 p3 vs p2 p4 / Game 3 p1 p3 vs p2 p4.
Finals: Rotate between p1 p2 vs p3 p4 and p1 p3 vs p2 p4 spots
For example: Game 1 p1 p2 vs p3 p4 / Game 2 p2 p4 vs p1 p3 / Game 3 p1 p2 vs p3 p4... and so on...

Civilizatoins: Team Random for all of the single elimination rounds.
Semi finals: Game 1 Spanish & Huns Game 2 Aztecs & Mayans Game 3 Team Random.
Finals: Game 1 Celts & Persians Game 2 All Byzantines Game 3 Saracens & Vikings Game 4 All Huns Game 5 Team Random

Opposite host for each game.

THE RULES

Dropping and Lag Rules

If a player disconnects, the game will be resumed.
If the game cannot be resumed we will try to view the recorded game. If one player/team was going to win without any doubt they will be awarded the win. If there was no obvious winner then the game will be replayed with the exact same settings.
If the same player constantly disconnects, they/their team will forfeit and the other player/team will progress to the next round. The exception to this rule is if the tournament has not progressed past the first round. A replacement can then be added to the offending team.
If a player is causing unplayable lag and can clearly be proven as the sole cause of the lag then that player may be disqualified.

Team Registration Rules

Teams will be officially locked 10 minutes before the tournament start time. You may not change your team after that point. It is your responsibility to make sure you are listed in the right team.

Tie Rules

Ties in lustful exist... Though they rarely happen, here in Demo Inc. we take them into consideration.

If both teams are unable to kill each other and both of them count with a force to fight each other back the match shall be replayed. An example of this would be a big amount of ships pumping from the mainland that keep being killed by mangonels from the outer land while these mangonels are unable to raze down the docks from where the ships are coming from.
If both teams are unable to kill each other but one team has clear advantage the win shall be awarded to the team possessing such advantage. An example of this would be a player keeping a single knight out of range from a player who has 40 galleys on the mainland.
If a team is at a big disadvantage and is clearly forcing a tie the win shall be awarded to the opposite team.

Important note: The word "Encounters" was removed from the tournament name, as it is enforced to keep social distance encounters are illegal.
