Also sexism should be able to be addressed. The AOE2 community is 95% male and women and girls playing often face a hostile environment.
Come on it's just a list of words in the backend or a regular expression at most, it takes you 5 minutes to adjust.
'There are no plans to improve the profanity filter at this time.' is really not a good enough reason to allow ****phobia and sexism to continue. There are many young people playing AOE2 from countries where being gay or **** is a big taboo and where ****phobia is common place and supported by the state. Places where young people are told 'woman belong in the kitchen' and can't be brilliant strategic minds We have a chance here to show them there is an alternative.
