Deleting vills not as fast as expected

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has my same problem.
Deleting vills/buildings can take up to 3 seconds each. It doesn’t happen when I play offline though.
Is this a common issue or is it just my pc or something? Any way to fix it?
I know there is a little delay with lag but feels it’s something else going wrong

This is a normal part of online play, it depends on the ping time between players.
