I double checked the server logs. You were having connection on January 4th, I see many recconnects with a different ip address. Here is a snippet of the log:
Code:
IP Address 169.150.***.*** 4 January 2024 - 8:38 pm IP Address 193.32.***.*** 4 January 2024 - 8:28 pm IP Address 185.65.***.*** 4 January 2024 - 5:13 pm IP Address 169.150.***.*** 4 January 2024 - 4:37 pm

Is it possible, that you are using a VPN?

If you lose connection to Voobly, the game will auto-close. This was made to close a known resign game + win rating points exploit.

So why this normally don't happen if players disconnect? Will pay attention next time it happens to see if voobly was disconnected but generally my fiber+vpn connection is very stable and I'm not player to disconnect regularly.

Why do you use a VPN if you have a fibre connection?

But you do realize that the business of VPN providers is just easy money and that it has nothing to do with privacy? They collect your data and sell it to anyone who is willing to pay for it; the advertisements industry is billion dollar business. Those you should be afraid of are actually those you are giving your data for free by using a VPN service and it gets even worse when you are paying for it. It's not related to your IP address at all and it also has nothing to do with privacy. It's [You must login to view link], it's a business, nothing more.

If you don't want anyone "tracking" you around the internet, you must use certain browser settings (e. g. disable third-party cookies, clear cookies after closing browser), stop using browsers like Chrome (Google!) and perhaps combining this with something like Pi-Hole (DNS Blacklist) or a hardware firewall with a contentfilter. And of course you have to stop using any services of the big tech companies on the internet e. g. Discord, Google, Microsoft etc. and of course you must stop using services like Meta, X, Instagram etc.

Nowadays you are tracked with your "free" Windows operating system, your "free" mail address, your "free" social media account and other things that actually are not free; since you pay them with your personal data about your daily life.

It has nothing to do with your ip address; even on Voobly we stopped using player ip addresses more than 10 years ago when it comes to banning techniques.

It's definitely not one thing, you're right about that, but yeah I don't use Chrome or Edge and I do have a browser extension that blocks 3rd party content depending on their tracking potential, and I do have browser settings to lessen the options for browser fingerprinting. I do think about what services to use for what and what private data to share where. But in end IP and your provider is the way they can link what you do online to your ISP that has your name and address.

You should check out TOR for such cases. If you want to hide from your ISP and the government, then TOR is definitely the better choice. :)

For commercial surveillance aka personalized / tailored advertisements you can use simply techniques and save the money and hassle using a VPN. Just wanted to help of course. Have a great day!

We have no telemetry service or automatic error / crash reporting. If people don't report it, we cannot help them. Sorry.
