New (old) monitor. Game won't launch

My monitor seems to have broken - the screen is just all white now. Not sure what the issue is with that but my problem is now after I plugged a spare monitor in the game no longer loads.
I can get to the lobby but I can't get past the last screen before the game starts where it says "waiting for players". It just exits out completely. I tried watching games and the same thing - it loads and then just exits out of Conquerors completely.
I tried watching recorded games in Conquerors but it said "can not load file". Occasionally it would load one with glitchy graphics for a few seconds then exit.
I need help getting the game working on this monitor. I'm fairly sure I used to use this monitor before the one that just broke also.

Everything looks fine. DirectPlay is configured and the game was found on your harddrive. If you still have problems try rejoining the lobby or restarting your computer.

Launch the game in single player mode as explained here:
[You must login to view link]

And start a random game with a computer. Go to your settings and choose the same resolution you are using as desktop resolution.

If your new monitor does not work at all, e. g. primary desktop, you must first run the setup on Windows. Right-Click on your Desktop > Display Settings > Extend these displayers. Then click on your new monitor and choose the recommended Display resolution.

Thanks a lot! I got it working now. Had to launch single player through voobly and change resolution in menu before trying to start game. I was able to play single player so I assume its fixed now. Cheers!
