Cannot advance the speed of the recs

Hello

That's right, the recs don't allow you to advance. I can only watch at "normal" speed.

If you want faster speed, turn off the spectator settings while watching the rec in a Voobly game room.

It should work just fine when using the Watch Recording Mode, as it automatically turns off the Spectator Mode.
