why when playing against bots/computers, their village doesn't develop, in fact they only look for food and don't build a village, Any suggestion?

You are using an AI that is not compatible with the patch you are playing. Could you please share your game settings with us? Thank you.

How do I check the settings? I use AoE HD which I downloaded on SteamUnlocked

Join our Casual Lobby and launch Voobly from Multiplayer:

If you choose Patch 1.5 RC + 1.5 Game Data in your game settings, you will be playing HD. Tell me, whether the problem still persists.

Yes, you do. Simply change your game room settings to 1.6 RC + 1.6 Game Data.

But, what if I want to play against both, another player and a a bot/computer. The AI pack are working fine, but we are still beginners, and the AI players, like Binary and others, are very hard ones for us, even in the easiest difficulty

You can set some handicap values for the humans.
