This happens from time to time when our provider is mitigating a Denial of Service Attack (DOS-Attack). We are still under attack, even though it's no longer actively affecting our infrastructure besides a few minutes of lag. I apologize for any inconvenience, but even the biggest tech companies have no solution to this problem.

i can join the custom scenario lobby just fine but not medieval siege at all but it says there are (384 users) currently somehow

As said above, this happens from time to time and it usually takes around ten minutes until things are normal again.
