I cannot be spectator to view game sometimes

It said

After I have turned off the visual mods, it still said
"<No 8-bit modes available so forcing 32-bit rendering!>

Up to now I still cannot be spectator to view game sometimes.
This happens since I use a new computer.
Can you help?

Hi Chris,
I have followed the setting.
However, I still cannot spec game.
The following statement came out after I joined a room:
<DirectX tool is on -- if you experience problems such as crashes it's recommended that you disable this tool in the "Game" menu.>
<Warning: Hardware acceleration has been disabled. This may cause crashes or sluggish game play. Only use this mode if you have game crashes without it enabled. You can find this setting in Game->DirectX->Disable Hardware Acceleration.>

Please perform a clean installation of the game:
AOK/AOC: [You must login to view link]
AoE II HD: [You must login to view link]

Then re-apply the recommended game room settings:
[You must login to view link]

Important: please use the installer to perform the clean installation of the game.

hi i get the message "the game has been started" and then the screen gets dark for 1 second after which the game doesnt start

this happens with 9 out of 10 games i want to spectate and this is happening since the last update in july

hi i have re-installed the voobly client and the problem still persists, also: this problem only occurs when i want to spectate 1.6 games, can you help?

Try deleting the 1.6 patch and 1.6 game data and re-enter the lobby. Wait for the download to complete. Does it work now?
