Scheduling:
Every round will last 1 week, meaning each team has 1 week to schedule and play the games before the deadline of the round which is Sunday 23:59 GMT. Your team is encouraged to provide your best times and schedule as efficient as possible throughout the whole week in order to get the games played in time.
The staff will be very strict regarding scheduling, and difficulties might end up in Admin Times or Admin Wins.
Tournament Rules:
Map Bugs:
If a player has trapped ressources, he can ask for a restart during the first 8min. The game must then be replayed with the same civilisations.
If a player has no door to the middle field, it also fits in those conditions.
Any lie about a bugged map may lead to an admin loose for that map.
Dropping:
Dropping will be determined based on current game state:
- If the winner dropped, then the match will be restored.
- If the game is still undecided at time of drop, match will be restored.
The winner of the restored game will take a screenshot at the end of the game and upload it as the result.
Those dropped games have to be restored within 15min, else the player having a technical issue will be DQ'd. Then
- If the loser is dropping (and it is clear he is losing), then the other person will move on and the dropped will be DQ'd.
All aspects, plus others not listed, will be analyzed before making a decision by tournament runners and others as they see fit.
Third Party Tools:
The use of any third party tool is prohibited. Examples are, but not limited to: Modified game files, syncers, crashers, network throttling devices (purposely lagging programs), and other such tools. Violation of this rule will not only result in disqualification from tournament, but termination/punishment as the Voobly staff team seems fit.
Misc:
Any issues with the client that may arise will be dealt with by the VCOM tournament mods/admins as they are presented.
You may only play on your account, and may only enter the tournament with one account. This also includes playing for someone else if your account was eliminated. Failure to follow this rule will result in disqualification of all involved accounts.
Once you and your opponent confirmed a time to play in the Scheduling Forum, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. More than that, the player that came and is waiting must take a screenshot showing [You must login to view link] (so the current time is clearly visible) and VCOM Tournament Lobby Game Room, and post the screenshot in Admin Win Requests topic, with a link to the post in the Scheduling forums where the game time was arranged and confirmed.
Any rule can be added/modified at any time as seen fit by a Voobly tournament mod. This rule exists to stop and punish potential exploitation of loopholes in current rules.
All matches must be recorded and uploaded in this topic before advancing to the next round there will be NO exceptions. The games may be uploaded to [You must login to view link]

Or would you rather another one like the arabia but obviously arena
Yeah, i prefer the idea of single maps tournaments, i think we can do 3-4 tournaments each year, i was thinking about masters of arabia / masters of arena / masters of islands (that one might be boring though) / masters of fullrandom ...
Any idea who could help you? and willing to give some time?
Well i'm fine sofar, the help was really needed when it was about checking accounts after signups, or managing the tourney during my holidays next week, as you will do
btw i chatted with feage, he will sneak into the "bottom" semi final (most likely jordan vs tim) to stream it, however he may reach himself the other semi-final, i left messages on msn to dreams but he has not answered to me yet.
Some help would be nice still, but i don't really know who to ask, aoczone tourney admins seems to be very busy managing the ln tourney, aoczone even recruited some journalists to publish news but none of them did the work. rtsleague & aocliga administrators are also using a lot of their time already.
Maybe publish some announcement, but don't recruit people with senseless idea like **** civs wars on **** maps, imho a tourney must determine who is the best on the standard settings, not on the weirds ones. and most stream spectators and rec. games watchers prefer that too.
