As far as I know, we have No Dm representatives.

Do we give Good a position here to see if he can get a few tournaments going for Dm? It's a lot better if we have one more in touch with that community, rather than a CS/Rm VCOM representative.

Otherwise Dm will just rot and die, which honestly doesn't bother me personally, but we sort of have a responsibility to run events for the entire community.

I tried mate, many times. Had one before who did nothing.

We should have active reps from every game type we play here on Voobly.

Anyone know who is worth pursuing? I am spending more time in DM lately and starting to get to know a few of the characters there. Always good to have some inside info

I couldn't say, Glenn is one of the only decent minded Dmers I've met that isn't on Voobly staff.

Army1 ran a nice 1v1 dm tourney not so long ago, maybe ask Good if he would be interested in running tournaments yeah.

I dont mind running more dm tourneys (theres an idea atm for a masters series with different civs, that ive discussed with a few dmers and rmers like viper who seems keen) but i do think it would be a good idea to have a full time dm representative who can indiffently commit plenty of time to doing the tournaments. I know i can only commit to a certain amount tbh. Good i think would be a good representative, whether or not he wants to help im not sure. Also Glenn as alot of insight into dm but like good i dont know if he wants to do it, it was actually him who i sat down with to come up with the rules for the last tournament.

I had a guy who messaged me before who said he use to run lots of dm tourneys, let me find the message. Not sure if its the same guy as before.

First message he sent me: Hey I saw your post about you thinking about hosting a DM tournament and just wanted to throw in my support. I've hosted a number of DM tournaments for the community since 2009 and would love to talk to you more about the possibility of hosting one. I think this is the ideal time to host one with the sudden interest spike thanks to Viper, Jordan, and other RMers coming to the DM room. And this interest will even go up more once Jidba comes back this weekend and throws hit hat into the fold!

But yeah, anyways, just wanted to show my support for the idea!
