I want to be able to host these maps once i download but i do not know where to put them so my game reads them when i host.
there are a few different possible locations to put map files.
first you need to go to drive:c/ documents/ my games/ age of mythology. From here, there are 2 different folders you could possibly use, depending on what type of map it is. The 2 folders in here are called either "scenario" or "RM2".
From the list of maps you said, it seems like you will probably put most of the files in the 'scenario' folder. There are some custom scenario maps that actually belong in the 'rm2' folder, such as "tiny", some "Zelda" maps, some "bloodsport" maps, etc.
