Please Credit Cavin at the end for creating the banner:

"Thanks to Cavin_Voobly for creating the tournament banner for us. " or something.

Should I also thank justin@voobly for implementing the VCOM ladder in the tournament lobby?
I've done it atm, tell me if it shouldn't be there.
Thanks

The banner quote is enough imo, i edited it:
Quote:
Banner made by Cavin_

I added
- some visual stuff (title colors, size, ...) to fits in the Masters Of .. announcement formats
- the BCC3 RF map (more fair than the original one)

you need to choose a map for Land Nomad aswell

Also, signups closing Saturday 21st means you need to seed all the players and build the brackets in one day (Sunday 22nd), if you are not sure to be free Sunday, then close signups Friday 20th, so you will have the whole weekend free (I will not be able to help you for that task)

2 more things lol

- adding a rule preventing from picking a fixed map / already played map would be nice

- "Game 1: Map: Land of Lakes..Civ: Vikings
Game 2: Map: Loser G1..........Civ: G1 Loser's picks a Civ, opponent picks random
Game 3: Map: Winner G1........Civ: Free Pick"

not clear & professional enough imo

-> better :
"Game 1: Land of Lakes - Civilisations: Vikings
Game 2: Home Map of the Loser of Game 1 - Civilisations: Free pick for the Loser of Game 1, random for the Winner of Game 1
Game 3: Home Map of the Winner of Game 1 - Civilisations: Free Pick

If the score is 2:0 in eithers favour, the remaining games does not have to be played."

Same for BO5, BO7:
If the score is 3:0 or 3:1 in eithers favour, the remaining games does not have to be played.

If one of the players reaches 4 wins, the remaining games does not have to be played

Theoretically, if i did it the first time, would i have to repeat for every one?
as to players not allowed to repeat home maps... i think ill say something like you cant use same home map 2 rounds consecutively

Nah that will be very hard to track, since you have to check all home maps from all players between each round, it will be a headache.

No restriction regarding the home maps might be actually better, after all most fixed maps have fixed civs, if players want to play the same map again with different civs, we should let them.

Yes, can you create two topics with the first post? I will move one to announcement and make the subforums public.

use "Quote" to have all the colors and style, then remove
Code:
[quote] [/quote]
from the post :)
