Hello there, I`ve found that to make AoM run in custom widescreen you have to make user.cfg file in startup folder, with following content:
Code:
xres=1600 yres=900
It does work perfectly when I launch the game manually through aomx.exe, but when I play thorugh voobly it seems to be launching the game through aomxnocd.exe, and it ignores the settings in user.cfg starting the game in fullscreen on lowres. Moreover there is weird bug when i play through that launcher - i dont see fog of war. By this I mean that I don`t see things that are actually in fog of war, but I just dont see fog of war itself, and the map loads in squares instead of unit vision radius.
see the square edges, no fog of war, and notice the forest layout:

now i move villager up, one more square loads, and i start seeing trees that get insde line of sight of my villager:

Anyone has an idea on how to fix this?

Ok, problem solved, in case anyone gets same problem, i`ve found a solution here:

to make it short, go to game_folder/gfxconfig2, make backup of that folder, then delete i845.gfx file, and rename "geforce3.gfx" to "i845.gfx"
