Hello everyone.

Since it was suggested in a previous thread to have a new player lobby blackforest 4v4 tournament .
We have taken the suggestions and decided to have two Divisions (A and B) with the following criteria and rules:

1st Place: Profile Award & 6 months Gold Membership
2nd Place: Profile Award & 3 Months Gold Membership
3rd Place: Profile Award & 3 Months Silver Membership

Streaming

Voobly Official Streaming will be done by _Altay & Platino. Streaming and spectating is allowed for anyone who wishes to do so. The only two rules are 1) Minimum of 3 minutes spectator delay in the game room settings, and 2) If you want to stream, you need to be a spectator, not a 'Player'. More information can be found here.

Saturday, September 20th @ 07:00am (-7 GMT)

You have one week to complete the first Round. The first Round must have the last game played by September 27th @ 07:00am (-7 GMT).

Where
Tournament Lobby - VCOM Ladder

The VCOM Ladder must be used for all Tournament games. If the game is launched without selecting the VCOM Ladder, the match will be void and will be repeated.

Check your timezone to see if the time & date to play is ok for every teammate.
If one of your teammates decides they can't play after Round One has been completed, then you have the option to play 4v3 or forfeit the tournament. You may not substitute players.

Sign-ups

Division B Sign-ups
Sign-ups will begin Saturday, August 23rd @ 00:01 (-7 GMT).
Sign-ups will close on Wednesday, September 17th @ 23:59 (-7 GMT).

Brackets

Brackets will be finished and posted by September 19th.
Elimination Rounds: Rounds 1 & 2 are single elimination Rounds (if you lose the first match, you don't move on to the next Round). For Semi-Finals (Round 3) and the Final Round (Round 4) it will be Bo3 (best out of 3 matches). The team with the two wins and one loss for that Round will move on.
Tournament will consist of 56 Players with 14 teams per Division. Total of 112 players with 28 teams.
Brackets will be decided by VCOM Hosts (who is playing vs who).
VCOM Hosts will try to evenly match up teams based on Division Criteria and Timezone location.

Record Game: You will be required to upload recordings of all games.
Cheats: DISABLED!
All tech: DISABLED!
Civilization: Team Random for all games.

If the host refuses to change settings to the conditions of the tournament, please message a VCOM Host. It is your responsibility to make sure the settings are correct. If the game is launched with incorrect settings, the match will be void and will be repeated.

Division Criteria

Division A (Beginners Ladder)

No players with a win/loss ratio of 2:1 in the Beginners RM Ladder (Example: 40 Wins, 20 Losses).
No more than 600 games played on the Beginners RM Ladder.
Minimum of 50 games played on the Beginners Ladder.
Maximum of 100 games played in the MS lounge from 2012.
No rush game - 40" until you can start attacking.
No AKA ratings > 1300 (Beginners Rating).
< 1350 (Beginners Rating).

Division B (Intermediate Ladder)

No more than 200 games played on the Intermediate RM Ladder.
Minimum of 50 games on the Beginners Ladder.
Maximum of 1000 games on the Beginners Ladder.
No zero game account sign-ups. Unless you have another account(s) that meets this criteria.
Maximum of 400 games played in the MS lounge from 2012. All ladders combined, but excluding the Intermediate Ladder. The Intermediate Ladder is mirrored with the NPL. DM games do not apply to this rule.
No AKA ratings > 1500 (Intermediate Rating).
< 1525 (Intermediate Rating).

Disqualification

Evidence of shared accounts. Your accounts will be checked before you are accepted and before you play your first Tournament match. Please don't ruin it for the rest of your team by deciding to play on another persons' account.
Refusing to set the Game Settings.
Rushing before 40 minutes game time (Division A only). (Excluding vil/scout fights trying to wall)
Spectators giving messages (giving hints) to players inside the game will be banned from the tournament. The player or team that is receiving this information will be immediately disqualified.
Your team has not shown initiative or has not played within the one week time limit to complete the round.
If two or more teammates can not play.
Attempting to change teammates after Round One has been completed.
You do not meet the Division Criteria, or exceed match page criteria. (Listing examples will be cause for easy manipulation.)
Violating any portion of the Banning & Rating Policies. If any one of your teammates violates any of these policies, your entire team may be disqualified.
Violating any portion of the Code of Conduct. If any one of your teammates violates any of these policies, your entire team may be disqualified. Extreme cases may result in an account ban.
