Different civ each game. Everyone can try out new tactics on same civ dur
Nobody said you had to play in the rooms where people do team random jesus.
But if one civ is faster then its not a fair game. Would you let one team pick all sara and the other pick all goths in CBA?
The tactic for 8k pyramid is clear. Pick Huns, stack like crazy and thats it.
The tactic for 16k pyramid is clear too. Pick Huns, stack like crazy, add a good amound of archers in feudal and thats it.
The tactic that works best for 32k has to be found since siege and probably even imperial will come into play. And since most people are aiming for a "top pyramid time" rather than a fair game, it makes more sense that everyone should be allowed to pick the civ they want to try out.
In your example one team wants to pick sars and the other team wants to pick goths, let them do that. But they will realize quick that goths vs sars are not effective and change their strategy. Same with this map. If one players wants to try a tactic with lets say vikings (which have basically no useful bonus for this) and another player wants to pick huns again, let them do that. The viking player will realize that his tactic doesnt work and therefore pick a different civ next game. And lets say he picks Spanish in the game after and finds out that theyre more effective than Huns in a 32k game (hypothetical). Then the player who played huns twice will maybe try a different tactic with a totally different civ. Eventually, when the best tactic is found, everyone will pick the same civ anyway to get the best timing. But until then, just let the people experiment around.
If you tell people who want to try their own tactic and dont want to play team random to **** off and play alone in their own game, then they cant view the other players and see what tactic theyre trying.
Also huns need houses in 16k version.
'Dan: **** that map'
Yea you really enjoy that map so much don't you :p
Thats two different things yo.
@Dan: Well, someone has to think, dont you think? Oh wait...
How? If you play in a room that is team random you are going to be playing team random by definition.
If the room is team random only you don't have to play in it and thus don't have to pick team random.
