i have the same problem than this guy here (found his thread via google, but dont have permission to reply there. maybe its too old. it was in wrong forum anyways. my game diagnostic tool says everything is fine): http://www.voobly.com/forum/thread/225347/:1065620#post1065620

so ill repeat the issue at first:
- i host a game (1v1 4v4 whatever) and click launch the game
- nothing happens
- i gb and click resume lobby. after a while the offline patch selection tool shows up. i can ignore it and relaunch the game now and it will work. if i click anything in that small window tho everything will be messed up (even tryint to X it away has that result).

other than starting twice and ignoring the popup window, any ideas how to permanently or temporarily fix this?

Hey!

1. Go to this location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Voobly\gamedata\aoc
2. There you can see age2_x1.exe (blue helmet) file: Right-click and select properties and navigate to Compatibility tab and select Run this program as administrator and Apply, OK.
3. Once you done, restart your Voobly client and try play your game.
