why cant we upload recorded games to the vcom boards?

Because the quota of forum is filled.
It was filled years back when taff used to upload all stuffs to VCOM.
Voobly gives a fixed upload of dat to any team otherwise they will use it as a uploading site.

Nope !
Deleting them will just delete the whole tournament history of CS ;sleepy
But I also support that those tournament archives after that of TIW 2016 all should be deleted ;stick

That is the fake modification where I upload my scenarios that need to be accessable permanently.

well i meant for players to upload recs that include drops, so that everyone can see them if they so choose.

Thats Not possible mate !!!
Just tell them to upload somewhere else like we do (No one cares in CS though :P)

Record games links are already provided with the Match Link, albeit, they only remain available for like 9-12 months.

The best way to upload public files to the Voobly storage at the moment are the mod pages. The quota is 200MB / mod now, and you can make as much mod as you want.
