Ok, I updated the Calendar with as much as I can. I know it's not in 'calendar' format, but at least the information for all events is there.

rofl omg

Does that mean they are always posted there?

Also..

Awards are placed depending on the number of sign-ups for that tournament.
Only Tournament Officials are allowed to set "[You must login to view link]" due to otherwise conflicting interests.

Not sure.
Genette was managing that as part of the VPromo people.
He spent an incredibly large amount of time researching all the tournaments pre 2010, trying to find links to brackets, who won, how much money etc.

Now he's gone I have no idea who has access/ability/time to update it

I'm not sure who has access to make changes on the confluence. I can have an educated guess though lol. I know Chris does. I can ask him if you like.

Spoke to Chris, Blake and I will have access to edit the confluence, so that's no problem.

In regards to the Protocol, if it's ok with you guys I think it's ready to be posted. Can you please double check the awards/premium sign-ups though. Just to make sure I haven't missed anything. I mean I know they're not perfect, but it's a start. I think everything else looks ok, right?
There are different types of Events - One Night Events, Leagues, Recurring Events, Cash prize events and Tournaments. Each has a different set of awards & premium prizes.

Cash Prize events do not necessarily reflect the items listed in this section. They are awarded on an event-to-event basis.

Bait and Troll posts are not welcomed on our forums and will be removed without warning or explanation. Continuing to bait/troll will result in a temporary account ban. Please stay on topic.
Sign-Ups
  • 16+ Players - Award on profile for 1st place (only)

Ok. I assume this means that blake will be updating the RM tournaments, or will you be doing that as well?

"Voobly does not allow its staff members to compete under their staff accounts in Voobly hosted tournaments, sweepstakes, or other events."

Does this mean I'm not supposed to play on [TheJedi]robo_boro??
That is my main account, that I play almost everything on.

"Tournament Guidelines"

Can someone explain this whole section? Most of it sounds like legal mumbo jumbo.

You cannot play with any of your account in the tournament , if it is hosted by you.
@Tournament Guidelines :
need to compress it and remove some stuffs like title one rofl As it will put pressure only ^^
But depends on mich^^

The document isn't approved nor finished yet, no idea why it was announced by Mich.
Most of the guidelines are from the time when VCOM was made. That only holds good for VCOM events (ie CS mainly and a little NPL) , so if we agree we should not care what others think ^^

No where does it specify your own tournaments. There is a separate rule about that.

Tournament Officials are not allowed to play in the same tournament they are hosting (reference).

Suggested rule.

Players may not smurf in VCOM tounaments.
When signing up you must list your highest rated and best known as accounts in addition to the account you will be playing on.
