Cant provide a game diagnostic. (see below problem)


Hi there, ive recently installed age of empires 2 hd onto my computer and want to play on voobly because it looks like fun. so i downloaded the voobly exe and installed it, then added it to "allow" on my firewall. when i open voobly i sign in and click on the new player loby for aoe2 then recieve a prompt for game diagnostics

Non-DirectPlay game path is 'c:\program files (x86)\age of empires ii hd'
Your version of the game is not compatible with Voobly.

You must install the most recent 1.0c compatibility pack for Age2HD

so i do this and installed it but the next time i open up voobly this still appears. As well as this problem my voobly client is 'losing connection'. after the first prompt voobly tries to download something then comes back with the error

Lost connection to the server. Reconnecting in x Seconds
Error installing package (Error: Unzip failed)

so ive tried turning off my firewall for this and nothing changes, i still get this error. after it reconnects it just sits at 100% downloaded indefinitely.

Please help

i have tried turning of my firewall and changing install locations for my game as well as reinstalling voobly.

Never mind fixed the problem. was the 1.0c patch was installing in a subfolder inside my game folder and then everything seemed to be fixed after that
