But when i join a lobby it wants to download 1.4 patch but i am unable to download it as it says-
Could not find game installation directory -- please join a lobby and run game diagnostics
log out of the game lobby/messenger. go here: http://www.voobly.com/gamemods/mod/114/14-RC/Overview
click install and see.

downloaded from 2nd link but where should i put it? and i want to use mods like small trees aswell so would wanted the direct method to be fixed. btw im using windows 7 right now
forget other mods for the time being. click install and see what happens.
Downloaded and installed from the second link but when i join a lobby it shows same error that userpatch 1.4 not installed
does the game run ok completely off of voobly?
is the install from the game cd's?
1.4 should install to here: C:\Program Files[86]\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\Voobly Mods\AOC\Patches
