We both have Voobly, and both have the same patches/versions of the game. Obviously two Voobly accounts. After one hosts, the game will start up and enter the ingame lobby as usual; however, the other person, as the game starts up automatically, it just freezes at the "Multiplayer Connecting" screen. Nothing else happens.
I don't think LAN play is possible with this game, and so I have no other option except Voobly (I think???)
Any help would be much appreciated!
how is your router set up, what port/ports are assigned to each player?
i cannt remember if this game runs under NAT [port 16000udp] or by the old game ports [2346 udp and tcp]
if by NAT you will need to assign/forward different ports to each pc.
pc1- 16000udp
pc2-27000udp[say]
use step1 to find what your two private ip's are
http://www.voobly.com/pages/view/134
you would also need to alter the settings, in the lobby, to match.
