Rules

Match Rules
  • The matches will be played as 4-6-8 player Duo games (according to number of sign ups).
  • Most of the match rules will be made after I see how many players are there.
For example- If there are 32 sign ups the first round will be of 4 games of 8 player each. In this way we will get 4 duo qualified for next round. In semi-final we get 2 winner and 2 losing duo. Winners will get 1st or 2nd place, while rest two duo will fight for 3rd place.
    or
For example- We will have 16 total sign ups. 2 match with 4 duo each. Then Final with that 4.
  • Any other ideas are welcomed.
  • More precisely its a short tournament with lots of fun and nice matches.

InGame, Dropping and Lag Rules
  • If something important is not okay (player drop, host set wrong rules), or critical bug match can be reset in first 5 minutes.
  • If a player disconnects, the game will be continued, but in case multiple players drop the game will be replayed.
  • If a player is causing unplayable lag and can clearly be proven as the sole cause of the lag then that player may be disqualified.

Pausing Rules

Each team/player can pause once in game for a total of 5 minutes. Other players are not allowed to unpause until they are sure that that everyone has returned. Any player who has paused for longer than this period, without the permission of the other player/team, will be asked to unpause or an admin win will be granted to the other player/team. Players who repeatedly unpause before the 5 minutes is up will cause an admin win to be granted to the other player/team. A pause will be allowed to exceed 5 minutes if the player if communicated with a tournament organizer.

Break Rules
  • Every player/team has the right to take a 10-15 minute break between the semi-finals and final games of the tournament.
  • Players/Teams that take unofficial breaks will be judged depending on the situation. If an organiser determines them to be wasting time they will be disqualified

Language Rules
  • Discrimination in any form is not tolerated. A violation of this rule can result in disqualification. Keep in mind that there are official rules related to this concern.
  • Simple trash talk is allowed since it has always been part of competitive activities such as sports or games. Keeping it to a minimum would be nice though.

Spectating Rules
  • Spectating is allowed, but with minimum 3 minutes of delay! Abusing by spectating may result in disqualification and temporary lobby ban.

Streaming Rules
  • The tournament is hosted as open-streaming. Everyone is allowed to stream their games or as spectator.

VCOM Host Rulings

Any and all rules may be changed by the tournament organizers on or before the night. All rulings by the official VCOM tournament organizers are final.

Maybe finals/semifinals can be svw, wvs, wvw, BO3. Just to make the format more varied.

Not really fan of the idea. I not want Sheep on this tournament. Previously Wolf vs Wolf was common for people, but in last year it died out, so I want to promote it again by this.
