I've set up port forwarding on 16000 with static IP. I've rebooted my router and PC several times. Tried uPnp and DMZ my local IP then switched everything back to the way it was. Disabled windows firewall, confirmed port open with PF port checker. [You must login to view link] [You must login to view link]

Starting networking diagnostics...

Your local network port (UDP) is 16000. All game traffic is routed through this port. This can be changed in "Settings" -> "NAT Traversal".

Attempting to connect to 3 test servers. This will take around a minute to complete...

Received data from 'server 3' through port 16000 (this is your WAN or router port)
14 seconds left.
9 seconds left.
4 seconds left.

Test Result: Connection failure
Network Health: Failure

hi
it looks as if you are ok now?
if not:
check your anti-virus does not have a firewall. although defender is off, it does say block apps/networks.

Not okay, I'm playing connected directly to my modem. I've set rules for everything AOE and voobly related and even tried disabling windows firewall.

hi
so to be clear, your home set up only has one box, the TP link? so when you have a problem, its when using wi-fi to the TP link? when you hard wire to the TP link it works ok?

I have my modem/router set to bridge mode, so it's acting as just a modem.

1) The UI for my router looks nothing like that
2) I've posted a screenshot that I've opened the port
3) I've posted a screenshot with [You must login to view link]'s software that port 16000 is open

Live help has run me through a double check.

hi
try these: [You must login to view link]
as it does work ok with a direct connection but not as a router, either a setting is screwed or the router is.
is windows the only pc firewall you have? do you have any anti-virus? is the routre/modem firmware up to date?
do you have another router/modem you can try?
