Ok guys as alot of you know ive been working on prizes for TIW and im pleased to finally announce what they are. Firstly and as already confirmed there will be both premium prizes for individuals as well as team premium and badges (just waiting on the design).

However I am finally able to confirm that we do now have a cash prize and an amount I didnt think was possible to raise. One particular sponsor who for now anyway wants to remain anonymous told me that they would match any amount we raised. Well we managed to raise £5000, £2500 from Voobly and I have agreed to match theirs. So now we have a total prize pot of £10,000. Im over the moon. Now before people get their knickers in a twist we have already agreed on how the prizes will be distributed and its not open for discussion as these will be the parameters:

1. Gold Winner - £5000
We feel its only right that the overall winners of the gold final. Being that we now know its between xcs, eot, dy, boomers. I will discuss with their clan reps on how they want the money distributed between their team. If an agreement cant be reached as we dont want any infighting between clans we simply split it between all those players who played games.

2. Silver Winner - £2000
Being that all of the non seeded teams were really up against it but off course stepped up and played. It will still be very competitive and great achievement to whoever wins that. Similar to the Gold winners I will also discuss with clan rep on how they want it distributed and if agreement cant be reached I will split it between all those players who played games.

3. Match of the Tournament - £1000
I will come a stage (at the end of the tournament) ask for opinions of which particular games is the game of the tournament. From those opinions I will discuss it with the admin team and then come to agreement between the donators. The money will be split between all those that played that game whether its 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 or whether they won or lost. In my opinion so far my favourite games have been simply v boomers 1v1 desert, simply v eot in 2v2 desert, rb v xcs in 2v2 spider (the one rb won) and xcs v ic in europe. So atm they would be my front runners, others might different. But of course we will reserve judgement until the end of the tournament to decide the winner.

4. MVP - £1000
We will look into different criteria and yes similarly we will also ask for opinions on a short list and then come to a decision at the end. Some of the criteria will include and not limited to things like an individual performance in a particular game, an individuals performance throughout the tournament, someone who consistently played a number of games and stepped up and won important games etc... Basically the individual who was the most valuable player we feel come the end of the tournament.

5. Sportsmanship - £1000
This prize will be available to both a team and an individual. Things like good conduct throughout including when they win or lose, how they act when they spec (trolling as a spec is frowned upon). Once again I will seek an opinion on this prize before we decide the winner. I genuinely feel there as been some good sportsmanship shown and some sets have been a dream to manage and im very hopeful this will continue. Naturally if its a team that wins which if im honest is the likely scenario (but not certain), then the prize will be donated similar to how we split the prize for both gold and silver winners by seeking an agreement on the split and without agreement it will simply just be split between all those than played.
