Hi people,

I hava a problem with connectiong to the voobly server - for AGE OF Empires 2
I have an error everytime i try and i tryied evertything to fix it...

Non-DirectPlay game path is 'c:\users\admin\desktop\new folder\age of empires ii'
Verifying 'c:\users\admin\desktop\new folder\age of empires ii\language_x1.dll' exists...
Failure!

The file was not found at the location the registry said it should be. The registry keys need to either be fixed or the game needs to be moved to the proper location.


Could you please help me ?;2confused

Did you buy the game or did you download the game?

If you have the real game, I guess it's best to reinstall the game but this will not help you if you downloaded the game...

Hello,

Looking at the pathing. You'll need to buy a real version of the game in order to play.

... and the game MUST NOT be installed within the user profile folder,
e. g. C:\Users\<your windows logon name>\
