Every time I try and join a lobby it opens the network connection and it "loads", I can even see a window when I try and alt-tab. Yet when I click on the lobby window nothing actually displays. I tried restarting and closing voobly. It was working for me hours ago..

Could you please post a screenshot of that behavior?

For usual, you solve such issues with the client by performing a clean installation of the Voobly client:

Why am I not allowed on NLP? Almost every time I play in MS I lose. can you please remove the ban?

Once you start playing the competitive ladders in the Medieval Siege Lobby, you cannot return to the New Player Lobby. You also managed to play more than 50 games in MS already, which means that you are at your real ELO now. Now try playing some friendly TGs with players of your rating.
