Now I have a NEW problem though. I keep getting kicked out from Age of mythology when starting a game because it think I am a cheater. It is some kind of anti-cheat system? How do I fix that?

Hi Brickhead, What exactly did the kick message say? According to our logs the Anti-Cheat didn't kick you.

Thanks for answer!

Seems like it is gone now, I played a few games and didn't have the problem. However, I did have FP problems once again. No idea why it comes and goes. This is my settings right now:

Set the port in screenshot #2 to 27000 again and restar the Voobly Client.
Please share the model number and vendor name of your router.

Changed to 2700, see pic.

My router is D-LINK DIR-825.

I appreciate your help!

You shouldn't use ports that are used by other applications. Any port between 27000 and 29000 is safe to use. Please double check whether your D-Link router runs the latest firmware.

It has the latest firmware according to the router.

So I could use any port between 27000 and 29000? I tried for example to change to 27001 but still getting FP.

How do I check if any other applications are using the ports? I dont think there should be any, not at least what I know.

Please take a screenshot of Start > Run > type „cmd“ hit Enter > type „tracert client.voobly.com“ > wait for the traceroute to complete.

The traceroute is clean, no second router behind yours. The firmware looks pretty old... 2010... I cannot find your model on the D-Link website either.

Is it possible that your router is very old?

Yeah, the router is old, might be from 2010 somewhere I think. Maybe worth getting a new one I guess.

Your port forwarding rules have been configured properly, you do not have an IPv6 address and there are no other reasons or explanations why it isn’t working. Replacing your router with a most recent model should fix the problem you are having. If possible, get a FRITZ!Box or something with long-term support regarding firmware updates. ASUS, D-Link, TP-Link etc. love to release the same model under several revisions and then retire them, so you will no longer receive any updates.
