Hi all,

I have installed voobly after 2 years once again and logged into my account. But when I try to join medieval lobby, it gives me an error saying "Lost Connection" with a timeout of 30 seconds.

I have aoe2hd installed via steam in my windows10 pc.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

Please perform a clean installation of the Voobly clean:

Your problem may be to related to an upgrade to the next big major release of the Voobly Client.

I did the steps and I am able to join lobby. But this time I am not able to join game rooms. Saying that I need to install 1.0c or something

If i do this, will I be able to play on steam ? Cuz I want to play both on steam and voobly. Not only voobly

It won't affect your Steam installation, no existing files will be changed or overwritten.

1- I did the steps on this page. However there was no file named aoe2 compability patch so I couldnt uninstall.

2- I unınstalled aoe2 HD and installed again via steam.

same problem keeps occuring.

Did you install the compatibility patch and run game diagnostics?

Like I said from previous reply, There was no compabilitiy patch at setting -> uninstall screen. Only Age2HD existed and I removed it

Btw I amreally glad for your time and help. But its 2024 and its too much effort to play a game of 1999. Sounds like we are hacking into google. I just wanna make castle drop

You are still having connecting issues with Voobly, e. g. error 5x0?
If no, please run the game diagnostics and paste us the results. Thank you.

I googled for some more solutions but ended up deleting voobly client. thanks.
