This mod currently gives users the enhanced tooltips for Voobly Balance Patch 4.0.
When the next VBP comes out this mod will be updated to the next version. This means that you will instantly receive the update for the tooltip when this happens. The then obsolete VBP 4.0 tooltip will get a seperate new mod which can be used for watching old recorded games.

The default tooltip shows sentences like "effective against archers" or "improves hack damage".
But this remains very vague and you can't dissect what it precisely does.
With this mod those texts change into "+50% Damage VS Archers" or "+10% Hack Damage".

It's important to note that to fully understand the tooltip you must have read the Excel file as well. The Excel file is in a way the backbone of the tooltip. Even people who think they already fully understand this game and don't play with a tooltip might be interested in the excel file. Much of this game is unknown to most players, even high level players.

All the information found in the Excel file and the tooltip is backed by extensive research on the game's code and the game's mechanics. Since we do not have acces to the full code of AOT some parts remain funded by educated guesses. And I don't claim I haven't made some minor mistakes.

WARNING: Using this mod will change the language in which the game is played completely to English.
If you are using the enlarged font mod you will limit the amount of displayable characters in your "tooltip window". Expect to lose a big chunk of info with the enlarged font mod enabled.

You can find the Excel file in your mod folder.
Default path for finding the Excel file is: "...\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\Voobly Mods\AoMT\Local Mods\Current VBP Enhanced Tooltips"
Reading the Excel file can be done using a couple of different softwares.
