Scheduling:

Every round will last 1 week, meaning each team has 1 week to schedule and play the game before the deadline of the round which is Sunday 23:59 GMT. Your are encouraged to provide your best times and schedule as efficient as possible throughout the whole week in order to get the game played in time.
The staff will be very strict regarding scheduling, and difficulties might end up in Admin Times or Admin Wins.

Tournament Rules:

Map Bugs:
If a player is not happy with the map, he can ask for a restart during the first 2 min. The game must then be replayed.

Dropping:
Dropping will be determined based on current game state:
- If the winner dropped, then the match will be restored.
- If the game is still undecided at time of drop, match will be restored.
The winner of the restored game will take a screenshot at the end of the game and upload it as the result.
Those dropped games have to be restored within 15 min, else the player having a technical issue will be DQ'd. Then
- If the loser is dropping (and it is clear he is losing), then the other person will move on and the dropped will be DQ'd.

A tutorial explaining how to restore games with Voobly is here.

All aspects, plus others not listed, will be analyzed before making a decision by tournament runners and others as they see fit.

Third Party Tools:
The use of any third party tool is prohibited. Examples are, but not limited to: Modified game files, syncers, crashers, network throttling devices (purposely lagging programs), and other such tools. Violation of this rule will not only result in disqualification from tournament, but termination/punishment as the Voobly staff team seems fit.

Misc:
Any issues with the client that may arise will be dealt with by the VCOM tournament mods/admins as they are presented.

You may only play on your account, and may only enter the tournament with one account. This also includes playing for someone else if your account was eliminated. Failure to follow this rule will result in disqualification of all involved accounts.

Once you and your opponent confirmed a time to play in the Scheduling Forum, the maximum waiting time is 30 minutes. More than that, the player that came and is waiting must take a screenshot showing [You must login to view link] (so the current time is clearly visible) and VCOM Tournament Lobby Game Room, and post the screenshot in Admin Win Requests topic, with a link to the post in the Scheduling forums where the game time was arranged and confirmed.

Any rule can be added/modified at any time as seen fit by a Voobly tournament mod. This rule exists to stop and punish potential exploitation of loopholes in current rules.

All matches must be recorded and uploaded in this forum before advancing to the next round there will be NO exceptions. The games may be uploaded to [You must login to view link]

Is the onager cut bug fixed when game is recorded? I've played games where cutting civs were not possible to cut the normal way (right click on the wood), somehow every time this happened game was recorded.

I thought it was just one or two wood types or something in the map script itself but generally doesn't matter anyway can always use attack ground.

Just to be clear, 20min no cut is no cutting through the middle forest until 20minute mark. Cutting trees behind the middle forest to help trade routes etc is fine.

you mean no cut to the main section of wood in the middle until at least 20 minutes on game time? (Hotkey F11 for game time). If a person is unhappy with where the main section of wood is located then they can restart??? unsure what defines a bug map, how much clear room does there have to be?

Also what about building scouting? is that allowed? I presume farming isn't? even though it isn't listed.

One last thing is this the best of three games or just one? cause in the text above under scheduling it says games instead of game.

Just don't burn the trees in the middle. You know, we get unfair maps sometimes in Michi. Then you can restart it at the beginning.

Added.

Fixed, just one game.

Players/Teams that fail to even attempt to provide times should get at least -100 points as its quite clear that they just entered to waste time and rubbish the tournament.
