Bug fix patch as main version for AoT

As many have suggested, the balancing aspect of the Fan Patch should be done internally, with a team (if it will ever be done). There is too much fighting over the changes when they are proposed in public.

To resolve this, I wish to propose something we all can agree on - the bug fixes. Both the scripting bugs and the random map related high contrast in possible resource position\amount imbalance.

Here is the list of the changes:

Bugfixing:

Disabled the usage of the console for multiple instances
Removed in-game cheats
Fixed an exploit involving the spawning of Ajax SPC units.
Trees and mines no longer provide one less unit than they're supposed to.
Hippolyta minion conversion bug fixed
Healing spring decontruction bug fixed
Undermine now works on mirror towers
Fixed a bug regarding docks being unable to shoot at certain water myth units
Changed the basic unit stance of Leviathans from defensive to aggressive
The Satyr`s accurate attack no longer misses targets due to spread javelins
Atlanteans can research draft horses now
Changed the caravan unit stance to aggressive to fix the caravan drop-off bug
Oracle scouts can now garrison, and all myth unit special attacks work on them
Bast upgrade bugs fixed
Titan gates are now deletable.
Changed the basic unit stance of oracle heroes from passive to aggressive.
All huntable animals (therefore set`s animals) are now affected by frost
Caribous of Set now convert nearby herdables
Traitor now affects Caribous of Set.
The kraken special attack now works on fireships.
Changed the initial stance of fishing ships to aggressive to fix the drop-off bug.
Atlantean citadel centers now provide favor
Fixed a bug regarding fire siphons being unable to hit gates on higher/lower ground from their maximal range
Destroyers` and hero destroyers` bonus damage now affects underworld passages, titan gates and tartarian gates
Sun Ray now affects Medusas
The Argo now receives the hero tag and is no longer affected by traitor, chaos, shockwave and the frost giant special attack
Meteor, Pestilence, Restoration and Lightning Storm now display their real range.
Rain no longer creates an effect above docks, seeing as fishing rates aren`t affected

Map changes:

New maps(added to the random set) :

Ghostland : Ghostlake with snowy terrain in the middle
Lamia: A more open version of Alfheim
Tartarus: An Erebus-like map with lava patches
Molde: A very open map, with scarce wood
Terra Incognita: A random terrain map
Added random DM set with fast paced land maps that promote exciting DM games

General map changes : (affecting all maps in sets) :

Town center, food and gold mis-positioning has been greatly reduced
Food sources are more evenly divided
Removed Highland from the random map set

Map specific changes :

Sea of worms :
Removed island
Switched out the starting fort to the usual 4 starting towers
Minimal closeby boar count increased from 1 to 3

Midgard :
Increased minimal number of initial berries from 2 to 5

We have the means of making this the main patch in the voobly lounge - if this poll gives sufficient positive feedback(meaning over ~60% support).

My point is that this is a balance patch disguised as a bug-fix patch. Calling it a bug-fix patch is simply inaccurate. This patch includes a long list of balance of changes.
(and of course, the map rebalancing too)



Why have we becoming a testing community for Naka, he doesn't even play the game. Like ArmyCore said the only people who support Naka are players who lose and want a change, hoping they would win with these changes.

Once again good job with semi-quotes, leaving out the parts where people took back what they have said before. Manipulation at it`s best. Some of these fixes however will not make it into the final product - that is why it`s being discussed on RTS-S.

Removed a few fixes that could have had a bad result, the rest are still up for discussion. Vote no if you are against bug fixes in general, but discuss if you are just against certain points.

First, who allowed you to even put this up for vote? Which staff member? I mean Taff assured me these patches will always just be an option here :(, this is why me and others stopped posting in FanPatch topies.

Second, AoT on Voobly probably has more then 1000+ unique players logining on each day and only 25 yes votes can have this MAJOR change implemented! The support as to be over 90% and this poll needs more then 400+ votes to determine an outcome.

P.S. The only people discussing this with you is jiggunjer (who just joined the community last week and is a 1600 player), Cryplex and Mirez (These two don't even play the game).

Undermine now works on mirror towers
disagree, mirror towers are special buildings, like sky passages and underworlds - i think if you do actually go ahead and allow it to work on mirror towers, it should do limited damage to said buildings

Walking woods now is castable on gaia trees
i think divine forests should not be tinkered with, especially since forest fire already works on it, gaia would be useless if an odin player 6 minute fast heroic's and eliminates any forest defense that she might have, then add 7-8 myth units which she is completely useless against - if you allow this, please boost gaia's automons (cheaper in favor, stronger in health, armour, and attack) and regeneration building rate

The Satyr`s accurate attack no longer misses targets due to spread javelins
definitely increase their tracking rate and accuracy

Caribous of Set now convert nearby herdables

Fixed a bug regarding fire siphons being unable to hit gates on higher/lower ground from their maximal range
agree, they hit on an upwards angle and can't hit gates and sometimes in between buildings; glitch

Thor`s special armory technologies now affect ships and buildings
disagree, it's special upgrades for human units, it should affect ships, not buildings
