DirectPlay Init Failure!
DirectPlay failed to load properly. This is probably an OS installation bug. You might need to reinstall your operating system. Windows 8.1 and later users can install DirectPlay through Control Panel -> Programs -> Turns Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components -> DirectPlay.
Follow the steps mentioned below:
1. Buy the game from a legitimate source (online or offline). You could get the game from Ebay/ Amazon or a local store as well. Downloadable HD version is available from steam for a very reasonable price.
2. Uninstall your existing game setup and turn on windows update. Make sure windows is activated and up to date.
3. Reboot the system and make sure direct play is enabled (Control Panel -> Programs -> Turns Windows features on or off -> Legacy Components -> Direct Play). This should be checked.
4.Uninstall the game from were you have it. [c:\users\yo\desktop\age of empires ii\]
Reinstall the game (with the legit version you purchased in step 1) and test the game offline.
If you have w7 64bit install like this: C:Program files[86]/Microsoft Games/Age Of Empires11/
voobly to the same directory [which you have] but not the same folder.:'c:\program files (x86)\voobly'

You can verify this by hosting a game room in any lobby from Voobly.
Good luck
