I have some problem when launching(or joining) a game.
The game runs correctly when I'm playing with it offline. But as soon as I am launching or joining a game it crashes. And it also crashes when I run it offline. (0xc0000005 error)
After I reinstalled the game it runs correctly again(offline). And when I try to play on Voobly it crashes.
Anyone having a solution?
Thanks.
this problem is this problem is caused by compatibility for W10 o W8
1. Navigate to your aoe3 game library.
2. Right-click on the AoE3 game and choose Properties.
3. Select the "LOCAL FILES" tab and press the "BROWSE LOCAL FILES..." button.
4. In the folder which should now have opened, locate file named "age3y.exe".
5. Right-click this file, go to Properties -> Compatibility tab and disable "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" checkbox.
6. Create a shortcut to the "age3y.exe" file on your desktop for easy launching of the game. Always launch the game from this shortcut
