AoE2 - Unable to join game!

I can't start Age of Empires 2 via Voobly anymore. At first, it was just a sporadic problem that disappeared after a restart. Now it's permanent.

- Tried reinstalling Voobly and the game.
- Still works when directly starting the game exe, but not in Voobly, with or without other players, hosted by me or others
- Same thing for Patch 1.0c, v1.5 RC, v1.6 RC
- Ports/Permissions are set in Router and Windows Firewall
- Run as Administrator is checked
- Game Diagnostics Test Result: "Everything looks fine. DirectPlay is configured and the game was found on your harddrive."
- Network Diagnostics Test Result: All Pass

Did the firewall reset. Then Windows asked me to confirm network access for AoE2 and voobly, which I did. But the error is still there.

This is interesting. You appear to have both, an IPv4 as well as an IPv6 address, however: when playing you get "unable to join" because DPlay is unable to handle IPv6 addresses. I am not sure why it isn't using the IPv4 address. Could you please double check the settings of your Fritzbox and disable the IPv6 address? That should solve the issue you are having. :)
