Building foundations not visible behind existing buildings

In 1.6 the building foundations are not visible behind existing buildings as they were in DE balance. Can this be fixed please? Thanks.

Are you using any visual mod that affects the foundations? At least in the base game they work.

It seems to be specifically stone wall foundations, see this screenshot.

Mods I have according to game room->visual and content mods:
1.6 Map Pack
Adaptive Age of Mandela - TC
AoC Custom Scenarios
Dark Grey Patch
Huge Number - AoC
Light Grid Terrains
Short Walls
Small Trees

I tried turning off all the mods but the problem remains.
